Car that runs with water (finally) - thanks to the japanese at Genepax

h2o car
The Japanese from Genepax built a car prototype that runs with water. It goes runs at a top speed of 80km/h and it "burns" 1l of water per hour.

This is possible because of WES (Water Energy System), a solution that solves 2 major problems - the price of fuel (water is everywhere) and the storage of hydrogen (no longer necessary to store hydrogen when you can store water, a much safer alternative). The system is very small and it fits without problems in the tiny vehicle they chose for the demonstration.

This looks as a very promising technology, although i don't think this is a first. Anyway, the rising price of petrol is a fact these days and i don't see any change on that front too soon (there are lots of political and economic interests that keep the situation this way) so probably this invention will be pushed aside for a few years. Until then, petrol will continue to bring big $ in the pockets of few from the pockets of the rest of us.

Below you can see a video of the car and the WES in action.
