I'm sorry, but I don't want to be an Emperor - that's not my business. I don't want to rule or conquer anyone. I should like to help everyone, if possible -- Jew, gentile, black man, white. Greed has poisoned men's souls, has barricaded the world with hate, has goose-stepped us into misery and bloodshed. We have developed speed but we have shut ourselves in. Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. Our knowledge has made us cynical, our cleverness hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery, we need humanity. A very good movie based on Maya mythology (the cycle of life, death and rebirth).

The soundtrack and special effects fit perfectly in the apparent sad story: Izzi (Rachel Weisz) is dyeing , and Thomas (Hugh Jackman) struggles to find a cure for her illness.

The movie is built around a silly game played by Julien and Sophie (the main characters) when they were kids. This game takes over their life, creates funny situations but also lots of pane for the people around them.

If you want a very different and not Hollywood-like movie with a romantic touch, this is it.
