Gmail account disabled

However I've seen many cases on the Internet where people didn't have access to their account for 7+ days. That is a very big problem, especially if the Gmail account is your primary mail account.
If you get the "Disabled account" or "Locked out" message you can get help here

Car that runs with water (finally) - thanks to the japanese at Genepax

This is possible because of WES (Water Energy System), a solution that solves 2 major problems - the price of fuel (water is everywhere) and the storage of hydrogen (no longer necessary to store hydrogen when you can store water, a much safer alternative). The system is very small and it fits without problems in the tiny vehicle they chose for the demonstration.
This looks as a very promising technology, although i don't think this is a first. Anyway, the rising price of petrol is a fact these days and i don't see any change on that front too soon (there are lots of political and economic interests that keep the situation this way) so probably this invention will be pushed aside for a few years. Until then, petrol will continue to bring big $ in the pockets of few from the pockets of the rest of us.
Below you can see a video of the car and the WES in action.

Yahoo and Google tease Microsoft

This new deal didn't help the Yahoo shares to grow but it is expected that the company will win about $800 mil a year from displaying Google Ads in their network.
Still, Google or Yahoo can break the deal by paying the other $250 mil. This still leaves place for a Microsoft intervention.

how cool is that
iPhone 2.0
iPhone 2 is the latest buzz on the Apple front. It has 3G, it is 22% thinner than the previous model, has gps, and the price tag is $199, half the price of the original. You can see below a 60 seconds clip illustrating the key moments from the Apple presentation:
I think that the interesting fact about the iPhone 2 is the price. $200 isn't much for what you get compared to the competition. Apple must get the missing $ from the original price from somewhere.. and my first guess is an agreement with the mobile services provider. The subscription plans for the iPhone are quite expensive and I don't think that we will see any changes on that front.
I'm curious to see how European mobile services will include the phone in their subscription plans. It would be cool on their behalf to make the iPhone available for purchase without a subscription (and a higher price tag, as usual), although that would go against the marketing model that Apple promotes.
